You may enter this category if you are a garden centre or retailer with a toy aisle or department

Omnichannel Toy Retailer of the Year

This category is for toy retailers with both an online and on-shelf offering

Criteria judged in this category

  2. Speed of service/fulfilment
  3. Use of technology
  4. Promotions
  5. Breadth of range
  6. Any key additional information that sets retailers apart from its competitors

Multiple Toy Retailer of the Year

Judging considerations in this category – to include general and specialist multiples

Criteria judged in this category:

  2. Customer service
  3. Staff knowledge
  4. Breadth of range
  5. In-store promotions
  6. Any key additional information or innovations that sets a retailer apart from its competitors

Online Excellence

Judging considerations in this category – open for companies whose main business is either through online sales OR if there are online sales that compliment main store retailing.  For retailers that offer other products online, it will be the toy offering that will be judged.

  1. Overall online customer experience
  2. Breadth of range offered and consideration of the quality of the overall toy offering
  3. Customer service
  4. Technical developments e.g. use of up to date or new & emerging technologies
  5. Innovation
  6. Site design and layout / Product Information / Image Quality
  7. Additional site features that sets them apart from its competitors

 

* Judges' Special Recognition Award

Judges have the ability to make a Special Recognition Award at their discretion after considering all entries. This is not a category for which retailers can actively submit an entry.

Judging considerations in this category

  1. Special customer service achievements
  2. Innovation – for example; use of technology, new retailing methods or other advancements
  3. Any significant retail achievements over the past 12 months
  4. Any existing, new or emerging retailers that are impacting the sector for the better, in a notably special way.
  5. Any other additional key information that sets this retailer apart from their competitors (e.g. in-store theatre)

Best Overall Toy Retailer of the Year for UK & Ireland

In addition to items listed in other categories, criteria judged in this category

  1. Significant contributor to UK toy retail over the past 12 months
  2. Excellent supplier relations across the industry
